I just wanted to give a little life update for the zero people who know I have a blog. It’s a good record for my personal use nonetheless.
I officially start my Franklin University freshman orientation class on Monday, but it opened last Saturday, so I have a number of the first week’s assignments completed already. I will be working on that class solely for the next six weeks. Good news! My professor encourages us to work ahead, so I am curious to see how quickly I can finish most of my assignments. I bought and am reading Ultralearning by Scott Young, in hopes that it will help me get the absolute most out of my classes, since most of them are six-week-long classes.
I also quit my job at the library and am working at a local grocery store now. My previous job had major issues both with employee behavior and leadership. Now, I’m working in a very friendly environment where I have lots to do. I also get to work more than 12 hours a week. I have the opportunity to work 25-30 hours a week, which is awesome!
This new chapter of life called adulthood is stressful and unknown, but I think it’s going to be okay. I just need to accept the unknown, and I will do better with it.
